The house we rented is a pool home on a canal nestled in a tranquil setting with abundant wildlife in North Port. Our next door neighbors are the endangered gopher turtles and their friends.
A natural setting throughout a couple of acres creates back yard serenity and privacy. The house is fully furnished including linens, culinary needs, washer/dryer, cable TV and Wifi. The 3 bedrooms have 2 queen beds and 1 queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded COMFORTABLE mattress. There are high ceilings and open seating with a tropical Florida feel. There is no more than 1 stair step to access any of the areas in the home. The pool is warmed by a solar heater. The lanai is cooled by a fan. Abundant storage space includes 2 walk-in closets and a 3 car garage.
North Port is conveniently located 20 or so minutes from the Gulf near Englewood and Venice. The population was 57,357 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port,Bradenton, Sarasota Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was originally dubbed North Port Charlotte and it was incorporated under that name through a special act of the Florida Legislature in 1959. By referendum in 1974 the city's residents approved a change to simply North Port to proclaim its separate identity.
I am jealous 😊

This was a good house but I think that we are going to look for a place a little closer to the beach next year
